Program Description:
Remote Aircraft Pilot, Certificate of Specialization prepares students to pass the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 licensing exam and do commercial work with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in a range of fields. This program offers comprehensive, hands-on training, preparing students for a rewarding career in this vital field.
Locations. This program is offered in its entirety at Florissant Valley.
Financial Aid. This Certificate of Specialization is not eligible for financial aid.

At the completion of the program, students are expected to:
- operate UAS under FAA rules.
- complete required FAA paperwork for UAS operations.
- develop mission plans to customer specifications.
- execute prepared missions.
- generate artifacts such as geolocation data, imagery, or video.
