Technology Requirements

• Your my.stlcc.edu student e-mail account is official means of communication with St. Louis Community College. All communication from the college to students will be sent to your student e-mail.
• You must e-mail your instructor from your STLCC student e-mail account.  E-mails from non-STLCC accounts will not be answered.
• All students have free access to Microsoft 365 through their MySTLCC account, which includes software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, a calendar, and e-mail. See the link STLCC Student Email and Office 365 for more information.
• Knowledge and skills using Windows 10 / MAC OS is expected. For success, a student should have or quickly gain knowledge of how to use a computer to complete coursework.
• Proficiency with OS file management, printing, etc. required.

• Current Acrobat Reader (.pdf files will be provided)

• Current Acrobat Flash Player

• Current Media Player (.swf, .mp4, etc. files will be provided)

• At least Firefox and Chrome browsers

• MS Office 2016 or equivalent - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Office Mix included)

• Some coursework will require additional online research, online tutorials, study, and practice. When needed, information about online resources will be provided.
